Authentic. Real. Loyal.

This is exactly how I would describe the love that Brian and Casey have for each other. I have fallen in love with these two and I know that they will be friends for life! One of the things that I admire about their relationship is how much value it has. Really, everything that Brian and Casey put their efforts into is because they believe in it. Family is the biggest thing they value and it shows in every relationship they have with their family and friends.

I take all of my clients out for dinner before their wedding. Casey, Brian and I spent 4 hours at dinner and I think we could have sat there all night. When they arrived, Brian said, "You know, with all business set aside, we would absolutely love for you to come to our rehearsal dinner and just meet our families and enjoy it with us. Yes, you are our photographer, but we would just love to continue this relationship on with you long after our wedding." I believe my response to this was. "Hell yes I will come!" The night of their rehearsal dinner, I felt this bundle of love inside of me, because I was surrounded by this couple's closest family and friends...and I knew that they valued my relationship that much to be included in their special little circle!

The McCullough's wedding was absolutely perfect! My favorite part was their wedding party. A little-awesome-secret about this couple is that they are BOTH twins! Their wedding party consisted of their twin standing up for them. Talk about a very cool dynamic.

Dear Eliesa, Brandon and Melissa, Thank you for the exquisite photographs of Casey and Brian's most perfect Wedding Day. You were all so enjoyable to have with us that day and your artistry is breathtaking. i love your eye for the details most of us would pass over. The little glass bird in the flower pot was one of many birds in the flowers at Casey's Father's funeral two years ago. With that image he is now in our memories forever as a part of this very special day. Thank you all from the very proud Mother of the Bride.

I have never seen a more artistically beautiful and intimate capture of the moments of love and joy two people share as they begin their journey into a shared life as man and wife. What a priviledge to look into these beautiful photos and share these emotions with Casey and Boy-Wonder! Thank you! All my Love and Blessings to you both. Congratulations!!!

Can I get a hell yeah all around?

I got my film back from the Eichten wedding, which was our grand finale to the 2009 season and I absolutely love how these images turned out! I absolutely adored this wedding and apparently so did the ladies over at Southern Weddings! Emily and Eddie have received a 2 part feature + interview on the oh-so-popular Southern Weddings Blog!

Check it out!

Over the top lovely and fully of life. I'm sure in 2010 Southern Wedding will have a editor camped outside your studio waiting for the next great idea.
Tell us more about your film. Looks like a few different types and cameras. The lip gloss shot -- her eyes and hair are so luscious in detail. I can't wait for more film from you. I see that the bride is an art therapist -- neat people. So is my sister @ minneapolis Childrens oncology clinic if she wants someone to speak with about MN art therapy.

WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

I am SUPER excited to share with you all the launch of my first book!!

It's been on my goal list for a while now to create a coffee table book and it really started out as a personal project for myself. I am a huge believer in creating something with your images. When we live in an age of computers and iphones, every image seems to stay on a machine. I love prints, canvas, albums and - alas - books!  As I started talking about this project, I started noticing an interesting response...people actually wanted to see it!

The [Film] Book
features images from my film cameras over the last year. You all know how passionate I am about film, so this is very special to me! I also wanted to share my thoughts in the book so I chose to do so through quotes. I'm a big quote-girl, if you couldn't tell, and I thought there was no better way to inspire than to use references that you can take with you on a daily basis!

So, without further adieu...

I present to you...

The [Film] Book
