This wedding was their wedding. Absolutely every single LITTLE detail was totally them. No bullshit.
I have been looking forward to this wedding all season for two reasons.
First, this couple has an incredible sense of style + design! They are both amazing, talented artists at heart and their wedding reflected simple, yet incredible design that reflected their personalities. Their wedding took place at the uber posh Chambers Hotel and Eddie wore a customized vest by Calpurnia Peach - AH! Everything was just PERFECT!
Secondly, they have a love that is untouchable! I remember during one of our consultations, I was asking Emily about their first look and she mentioned that Eddie had already seen her wedding dress. She said this,"Everyone at the bridal shop thought that I was insane for inviting Eddie along when I went dress shopping. Why is that crazy? He is my best friend! Why would I not want his opinion on the most beautiful dress for the most important day of our lives?"
Solid.
Another thing - a good wedding always has amazing shoes.
Congratulations to Emily and Eddie! Thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your big day and close out 2009 with a BANG!
(Yes, that is right! We are DONE with weddings for 2009 - what an INCREDIBLE season!!!)

I absolutely LOVE seeing people begin new endeavors - and especially when I know they are going to be absolutely PERFECT for it!
Jessica is one of my brides from this past season and after her wedding, she launched a lovely new blog called 'Live The Fancy Life'. Her blog features SO many awesome tips, tricks, interviews and hidden secrets about fancy things in the Twin Cities! And more importantly, Jessica is the QUEEN of finding hidden deals in this city and she is now sharing all of her fancy-little-secrets with all of her readers!
I think this blog is destine for GREATNESS!
I am flattered and very excited to be featured as a 'FANCY FEATURE'!!!
Check out Part I of my interview here!!
(Part II will be coming later this week!)

Jessica and Kevin's wedding was all about tradition. The couple got married in Northeast Minneapolis, which is where Jessica grew up, in the church she grew up in and surrounded by the people who have watched her grow up! And if you know anything about NE Minneapolis is that it has deep cultural roots! Kevin is a Chicago boy who is new to the Mpls scene, and Jessica is Lebanese, which is a perfect match! For some reason, every Lebanese girl I know is with a Chicago guy...
The one observation that I had was how much pride all of these people had of their roots.
And in my opinion, being proud of where you come from and how far you have gone in life is a beautiful thing!

Okay, love the whole series, but the trio of details with "God bless you" in the middle is so amazing!

I loved everything about their wedding. From their old church, to the smokin' bridal party to the BEST food I have ever indulged at during a wedding - it was all amazing!
What brought Jessie and Dave's day together was the sense of history with this couple. All of their family and friends have known them always as a duo and the stories and comments throughout the night were as heartfelt as they get! I heard more people say that they 'Look up to their relationship' and that is something to be very, very proud of!
Congratulations for Jessie and Dave - you-two-and-your-adorable-little-family-are-the-best!
