Mr. and Mrs. Ritter!

Mollie and Kurt’s wedding was PHENOMENAL! Every single detail was executed to a T and it was just SOOO perfect and completely out of a fairy tale! From Molly’s custom Monique Lhuillier dress to horse drawn carriages to fireworks, this wedding was A-MAZING! To top it all off, these two families blended so well and there was a TON of love in the room!  

Kurt is straight from Sweden, so all of the children wore traditional Swedish attire – HOW CUUTE!

The couple’s reception took place at Mollie’s parent’s house on the BEAUTIFUL Lake Minnetonka! 

Congratulations to Kurt and Mollie on their nuptials! The couple is now at home in sunny L.A. and I couldn’t be happier for them!

Mr. and Mrs. Baake!

Beauty. This is the first word that comes to mind when thinking of Kim and Danny! They are a beautiful couple with a beautiful love and a GORGEOUS wedding! The day started off downtown Minneapolis, then to Lake of the Isles and ending at the Lake Calhoun Beach Club! Check out Kim's FABULOUS Monique Lhuillier dress - I just LOVED it!

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben!

First, let me say that reflecting back on all of these weddings this past year has been a ton of fun and I’m SUPER lucky to have been a big part of all of these couple’s wedding days! Sarah and Quinten are GREAT! Seriously, they are the kind of couple I can go and have a couple beers with – oh wait – we DID go out for beers a few times! They are super cool and after getting to know them so well, I was super excited to shoot their wedding this past August!

I have to take a moment to talk about this image. It is one of my ALL TIME favorite images EVER! And for this reason: this is PURE love. I was waiting for the dance to start and I began to watch the two little kids in the center. The boy was chasing, no REALLY PURSUING the girl. He wanted her and he was on a mission. I sat there for almost and hour watching him chase her – and she would just run away, but he would just keep on! He was relentless! I captured this image when he finally caught her and he gave the girl a hug and started shouting ‘BABY! BABY! BABY!’ He was SO excited! And it made my heart MELT!

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH for Jenny and Reed! I absolutely ADORE this couple and it was one of the greatest shooting days for me EVER! Their wedding took place in northern Wisconsin at the Heartwood Resort this August and it was PERFECT! ...I think the images speak for themselves!

A HUUUGE congrats to Jenny and Reed on their amazing wedding! The couple is now at home e in Las Vegas and I hope to catch up with them this spring!

Katie and Josh. So cool. So Cute. SO FUN! The middle of June is a great time to get married in Minnesota! This couple's event took place at the Millennium Hotel, downtown Minneapolis, which is a great location, because it offers some cool urban-ness to photograph!

Kia and Mike were one of my favorite couples this season! They were so much fun, because they had a true, deep, serious love for each other – and then bust out the fun when you were least expecting it! (And let me tell you, this couple can DANCE!) Their wedding took place this past May and their day was truly perfect! With an outdoor wedding, a reception at 317 on Rice and the A-MAZING Sarah from Lasting Impressions Weddings – it was unforgettable!

This wedding season was INSANE and SO much fun! However, there are a few couples I haven’t blogged about yet from 2008, so the next week or so, enjoy a look back at summer!

Kareen and Brian tied the knot this past August at the beautiful Saint Luke’s Cathedral in St. Paul, Minnesota! This couple met in college, so we went back to the spot where it all took place! It was a SUPER hot day and the groomsmen took advantage of the sprinkler system before hitting the reception at the Landmark Center! This wedding also meant a lot to me, because it is my second wedding with this family! Last year I shot Brian’s brother’s wedding as well and it was SO great to see everyone again!

Mr. and Mrs. Howe!!

Amy and Eric had a PHENOMENAL wedding! There really is nothing else to say! I have been looking forward to their wedding all season, because it was the grand finale to my wedding season this year! Their all-star-event took place at The Depot downtown Minneapolis and the setting couldn't have been more beautiful!
